Researcher in Siberia have recently found lion cubs in a permafrost. This amazing discovery was a big surprise for the researchers since the cubs were in a well preserves state. These cast were do well preserved that one of them still had some coating of fur. The frozen cats are dated to have been 10,000 years old if not longer. As stated by Julie Meachen, “As far as I know, there has never been a prehistoric cat found with this level of preservation, so this is truly an extraordinary find". Moreover, scientists in charge of studying the lions have yet to announce any findings. They will have a press conference and announce their finding. They have also announced that they will also release some other findings regarding the wooly mammoth. Lastly, these cubs will allow scientists to determine the cause of there death and what adult lions ate.
